Apelbrand is an apple spirit from Åland made from a mixture of sweet and sour apples from local apple orchads. It’s stored in French oak barrels for a minimum of 6 years. A glass of Apelbrand is perfect as an avec after a nice dinner. Apelbrand is similar to the french Calvados but the taste is a bit more round than that of French Calvados. In order to let the taste blossom, it’s important to serve Apelbrand at room temperature. Enjoy the scent properly before tasting!
